There are good and bad Landlords, just as there are good and bad Tenants, the difference is that when a problem arise the Tenant can get free Legal advice.
Our Tenant Control & Debt Management service is, we believe, unique.
The service provides help and advice to existing and inexperienced Private Landlords on the basic Legal procedure of Renting and Managing their property.
For a fixed fee, we can:
Ÿ Provide a “Plain English” Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement and, if necessary, complete the agreement with the prospective Tenant.
Ÿ Issue a Rent Book to the Landlord, or if necessary, to the Tenant.
Ÿ Complete Housing Benefit and Council Tax documentation for the Tenant.
Ÿ Advise the Landlord on the Legal Notice’s required to gain possession of the property.
Ÿ The serving of the Legal notice’s.
Ÿ Advice on applying for County Court Judgements and the recovery of outstanding debt.
Ÿ The serving of the various documentation to recover outstanding debt.
Ÿ Going to the County Court on behalf of the Landlord to evict a Tenant.
We accept we are not Legal Advisors but we have sufficient experience in the Letting industry to provide this service. After all, we have provided this service to our existing clients for over 10 years.
